Over the past week, a torrent of social media testimonies has accused members and affiliates of the label of grooming underage girls, domestic violence, and a pattern of predatory behavior, painting a disturbing picture of an inner circle seemingly shielded by its loyal fanbase.

While no official legal charges have been filed and the accusations remain unconfirmed, the sheer volume and consistency of the accounts have sparked widespread concern across the hip-hop community.

Homixide Gang Under Fire for Grooming Allegations

The most immediate allegations target the duo Homixide Gang—comprised of members Meechie and Beno!. Fans have taken to platforms like Reddit and Instagram to accuse the group of inappropriate conduct with minors, with incidents allegedly occurring both online and at live shows.

According to screenshots circulating online, Beno! allegedly engaged in a direct message exchange with a 17-year-old girl. In the purported conversation, he reportedly asked where she was from and wrote, “Dang I was trying see you but I think your friend was playing,” after she didn’t meet up with him.

These digital accusations were compounded by disturbing firsthand accounts from concertgoers. One fan, who attended a show in Indianapolis, detailed an incident where affiliates of the group allegedly targeted underage attendees.

“I was at the show in Indianapolis last night up front,” the fan wrote on Reddit. “Homixide Osama [another Opium affiliate] and the other dude… took two 15 year old girls backstage, and even tried getting my girlfriend (who’s also 15) to go backstage with them. Obviously she said no, but that’s weird as f**k. The girls were obviously underage as well it’s not like they looked old.”

A separate account from the Houston show alleged that a merchandise stand worker attempted to arrange backstage access for friends to meet Homixide Gang.

Another user, sharing a screenshot of a private message, claimed that the behavior was not an isolated incident, writing: “THATS WHAT MY FRIENDS ARE SAYING. LIKE BENOS BEEN FW UNDERAGED GIRLS THIS AINT THE FIRST TIME IVE SEEN SOME SHIT BY HIM.”

Beno! allegedly responded to the growing backlash via his Instagram Story. “All y’all N***as want to play these games,” he wrote, accompanied by a series of laughing emojis. However, the comment was not directly linked to the specific allegations, and as with many social media posts, the authenticity of the screenshot could not be independently verified.

A Pattern of Abuse: Ken Carson and Destroy Lonely Accused

Beyond Homixide Gang, allegations of domestic violence have surfaced against other prominent Opium artists.

Ken Carson faces unconfirmed but serious accusations of physical abuse. Social media users have claimed that the rapper was arrested in 2021 for allegedly beating his girlfriend. According to the posts, the girlfriend reportedly told police that he beat her on a regular basis, though she later dropped the charges. These claims remain unsubstantiated.

Similarly, Destroy Lonely (real name: Bobby Sandimanie) has been accused of domestic violence by an ex-girlfriend. The accuser allegedly shared a detailed account online, claiming that Lonely physically assaulted her, including choking her and cracking her head open. She also accused him of emotional manipulation and faking autism. In a bizarre turn, she claimed that Lonely followed a friend of hers into a bathroom to cry and plead with her to convince the ex-girlfriend to get back together with him. Unconfirmed allegations of domestic violence with a new girlfriend have also been raised.

Racism, Scams, and Erratic Behavior Among Affiliates

The controversies extend to the label’s producers and creative consultants.

Producer F1lthy has been accused of making a racist tweet directed at Indians following the announcement of Rolling Loud India. He has never publicly addressed the post and reportedly blocks users who bring it up.

Affiliate Gio was criticized for publicly mocking an airport worker on her Instagram Story and, when questioned about a pentagram chain, allegedly made a dismissive comment regarding Palestine.

Photographer and creative consultant Joy Divizn faces multiple accusations of scamming fans, blocking individuals who confront him, and exhibiting rude behavior. Unverified claims also suggest he has faked mental health conditions and was videoed drinking with 17-year-old artist Nettspend in a club.

A Culture of Silence?

As of press time, none of the accused parties have issued formal statements addressing these specific allegations. The Opium label and Playboi Carti have remained silent.
